Meet Aminah

Hello! I’m Aminah, the founder of Genesis Skin, and skincare is my expertise.

With over 13 years of experience as a qualified aesthetician, my journey has been dedicated to continuous learning and refining my skills. I specialise in non-invasive facials, skincare, and wellness, providing personalised treatments that focus on your unique skincare needs and overall well-being.

Throughout my career, I’ve gained extensive experience working in salons, spas, and clinics, before transitioning to the corporate side of beauty brands. From the treatment room to the boardroom, my passion for skincare has remained at the heart of everything I do.

My personal skincare journey has also shaped the practitioner I am today. I’ve experienced the highs of clear skin and the challenges of acne and (even now!) eczema. These experiences have given me not only the technical expertise but also the empathy to help others navigate their own skincare journeys.

As a Black woman in the aesthetics industry, I’ve seen the undeniable gaps in understanding and caring for darker skin. Like many others, I’ve experienced these challenges first-hand as both a practitioner and a client. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to bridge this gap. At Genesis Skin, all treatments are safe, effective, and inclusive for all skin types, including Black and Asian skin. I bring specialised knowledge and care to ensure every client feels seen, understood, and treated with expertise.
